Hi!  I'm Linda Mounday, the senior student advisor for our school.  As many of you may be aware, I retired at the end of May after 34 years of teaching in the Pawnee Heights School District. I’m pleased to announce that, “I’m baaack!!” I will continue to serve Pawnee Heights and its students part-time as the college prep, testing, and workforce advisor. This new venture will afford me the opportunity of working with high school students as they prepare for the next step in their lives. I will help students explore what post-high school opportunities best fit them such as college selection, admission requirements, application procedures, scholarships and financial aid.  It is important that we establish an open dialog in order for students to have a smooth transition toward furthering their education, career, or employment goals. Remember that I am here to help and serve as a resource. Please communicate your goals and plans with me and I will utilize all of the tools I have to assist you. I am excited to be able to continue to serve Pawnee Heights and its great students in this new capacity. I am looking forward to a great year!

September 20th - College Planning Conference, Great Bend High School

September 23rd - Kansas State University representative visit to PHHS, 10:00 a.m. - Must sign up in advance to meet with the rep. Sign up sheet on main hall bulletin board.

October 13th - PSAT Test for Juniors and Seniors. See Mrs. Mounday for details

October 20th - PLAN Test for Sophomores

October 23rd - ACT Test at Larned or Barton Comm College. Must register by Sept. 17th.
